The Bench embodies the same design principles as Vormen’s Stool, extending its concept into a larger seating surface, without compromising elegance or functionality.

The seat of our stool has fascinated us for some time. The idea of creating a curve in a flat surface, making the stool initially appear unstable, but actually gaining more stability through this deformation, intrigues us. With our new low table, we wanted to emphasize this shape further by enlarging it.

A small stool is formed from a pressed metal plate to which the legs are welded. The concave in the plate provides a more ergonomic and stable support for seating and directs the corners in which the legs stand.

A piece of belting leather, folded and seamed, is shaped into a curve. This curve will provide support for the back and arms.

chair.01 consists of a steel frame supporting a seat and back rest. Both back and seat are made either from an aluminum plate or from the combination of a piece of belting leather glued to a thin steel plate.

table.01 is a series of tables where the tabletops are defined by a variation of four geometrical shapes.

A cylindrical stone encasing a spherical lightbulb. The lightbulb carves its way through the stone pedestal, rotating around the stone.

A chair joins a table. This connection creates a platform designed for lounging, working and reading.

The Mlamp suggests a way of presenting the light bulb in its purest form, stripped of the non-essential. The form follows the idea: sober, minimalistic and skeletal.

Stacked solid wooden beams, 15cm in diameter, form a bedframe. The ends rest on each other, hook into each other.
