"Originally started as a school project by one of the members, it reached its final form after six years. The initial idea was to breathe new life into the classical ceiling ornament, the rosette, as a light object. But over time, the design was stripped further and further of its ornamentation, until only the essence remained.

The result is a lamp made from an aluminum tube, with laser-cut openings for the cord, the lamp bracket, and the suspension system. The tube is hung in the middle, allowing the lamp to rest against the ceiling. If you want to change the direction of the lamp, you simply lift and reposition the tube. Once the desired position is found, the lamp rests again.

The bracket that holds the lamp subtly refers to the systems that were once used to attach lampshades to a bulb. We now use this principle to hold the lamp securely and allow it to pivot. By using a semi-reflective light source, the light can be directed.
